An interesting story, I like how the plot developed. The flash forwards and flashbacks were a bit confusing, there were a lot of times where I got lost because the topic changed so abruptly.

I was in this play but I was 16, so I knew it well. But somehow - I only recently realized that I’d never read the original novel. They are, of course, rather similar, with a few key differences. The jumping around in time is interesting, but I think it works.
A reread, because I was thinking about teaching it. Spark's prose is an absolute delight and Miss Brodie is a brilliant character. The way Spark handles time is remarkably good. The whole slim package is tremendously enjoyable.

I watched the movie decades ago and now have read (listened) to the book. The audio narration is terrific. It's a charming yet devious short tale.
