I really liked this book. Really sweet characters, really sweet love of books, sweet story but I do love to cry. Great Maya representation!

Made me laugh.  Made me cry.  An awesome book.

It's a cute book about a bookstore and it's grumpy owner who only respects "real" literature. The story isn't groundbreaking and the twists are pretty evident before they're revealed, but if you look at it as a book about a gruff man who can find love in different forms it does it's job (with many clichés obviously but I forgive it for it).
It's a good one time read that'll make you smile!

A love letter to books and bookstores, the power of words and the power of love.

It's cute! Very readable. Likeable characters. And this makes me feel like A.J., but it was a little too overly sentimental and trite for me to really love it.

Oh, I just loved this. In fact, I’m writing this review with tears streaming down my face. I don’t know how to properly convey what I loved about this book so much. It probably has something to do with a pretentious curmudgeony man improbably finding love after tragedy, a celebration of books and book stores, and a profound portrayal of the cyclical nature of life. We are what we love and what we read and this book is that.

Well, the ending was depressing, which I am not in the mood for. I did love the book though.
