A sad but all too true story about how the famine effected all those in Ireland especially children. A heart warming ending that defies all odds, definitely one to remember.

I really enjoyed this story of a family's struggle to survive during the Great Hunger in Ireland. I especially enjoyed the narrator's reading of it. Made the experience for me.
