How can you not love a woman training a man to fight! Their first meeting was very unique and I knew they were going to be very different in how they did things. I loved that they both were so set on their reasons, but also wanted to help and not hurt each other. Her family just added to everything from her father helping her with her cause to her brothers helping and having their own requirements for things. The ending and proposal was perfect.

Patience's reason for her cause is heartbreaking, but Sin sparked something in her. She had me from the start with how set she was on things. Then as she realized what her actions had done broke my heart and made we love her more.

Sin stands out from all the other men in many ways. He was determined to save his home and could see through many people. I loved that he was so open to her and the reason behind his name is so sweet.

Perfect for when you have a couple of hours to read.

This book was a short and sweet romance. Lady Patience is the daughter who still hurts from the grief of her mother's death. Since her mother was a prizefighter, and her death was due to the many injuries sustained during her fights, she works to ban the sport. Only no one really cares about her efforts.
Lord St.Seville is broke and wants money. He sees an easy way to make it through bare-knuckle fights, only he is not very good at it. Patience helps him by training him and eventually they fall in love.
The book deals with how patience really gets over her loss of her mother and moving on with her life with St. Seville's help. An all's well that ends well book.

Patience is a crusader against bare-knuckle boxing. Her mother died suffering from injuries incurred practicing the sport, and Patience will do anything to end it.

However…. The earl of St Seville is arrived in London to use his big body to save his island.

“The Earl” has an interesting historical twist, and plenty of romance to go along.

I enjoyed this book immensely

This is a great addition to the Wicked Earls' Club Collection. Christina McKnight has created characters who must fight through their situation to find peace and love. Lady Patience has ruined her reputation in the ton by crusading against boxing. Her own mother had health issues related to her time in the ring.
Sinclair (Sin) the Earl of St Seville has come to London to try his hand at fighting so he can make enough money to say his estate. He is doing everything she hates yet, she volunteers to train him so he can stay safe as he fights.
As the two interact to get him ready for his fight you can see them fall in love and it is the happiest of Happily Ever Afters.
