I picked this book up at the library on a whim simply due to the striking cover. I thought that The Arc is a very unique take on modern dating and the presence of algorithms in todays world and their impacts on peoples lives. I look forward to more books from this author in the future.

tl;dr just two privileged new yorkers getting together.

absolutely bamboozled because one of my favorite booktokers had this on their best reads of 2022. just like such one sided characters with a boring and predictable plot. this was allegedly a “novel” but just felt like a dollar store romance with some career plot thrown in. also, for all my spicy people this was a fade to black fyi.

so 1.5 stars?? like it more than my other 1 star books but not as much as 2 stars. LOL also read another review that said these characters would have bought tickets to fyre festival and I couldn’t agree more.

I really enjoyed this!! What a fun premise! I enjoyed the characters, the plot in engaging, and overall, this was a fun romance book to read without excessive angst!

ARC kindly provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Very good! I listened on audiobook but fell asleep here and there. Even though I missed some parts it was still a very engaging story! I guessed the “plot twist” at the end though, not that it was incredibly cerebral. Good story overall about people’s realistic behaviors and how we can make irrational choices for the sake of being rational. I rate 4 because I’m tempted to go back and read the book in entirety

Just very mid. I kept feeling like I was waiting for the plot to…. Happen…. and I wanted to feel more chemistry between the characters but I enjoyed the portrayal of real life relationships
