I devoured this in less than 24 hours! Definitely did not expect the plot twists that came with the ending but they were SO good. I hadn’t read anything by this author before and will definitely be adding more to my TBR. Thank you for the ARC!

I feel like A Marriage of Lies would be so much better if it did not start the way it did. It gave away so much within the first few pages. I feel like it made it easy to guess what was going to happen. I did really enjoy the characters  and the crime scenes. I think I would have enjoyed it so much more with a different beginning. With that being said, I enjoyed other aspects of the book.

This was a decent read. It was enjoyable even if it was predictable and somewhat hard to believe. Honestly, I didn't feel like any of the characters were sympathetic, but I liked trying to figure out why things were happening. That being said, I still don't fully buy the why of why the main character did what she did. I can see why some people would love this. It just feel a little short for me.
