I wanted to like this more than I did. Still, it's a fun read that ended up going in a different direction than I expected--which is a good thing.
The audio book was a joy to listen to the sounds and descriptions were really good , but what is up with that ending ? I wouldn’t read it to children what a shame , it was good up until that point .

Cute. I appreciated the themes of capitalism vs the environment and the double standards of how men vs women are perceived for the same actions. Would be a great short listen with kids that could spark interesting conversations about family and emotions. I liked the sound effects and Aubrey’s narration.
Beautiful pictures. Overall I liked the story, but the ending felt very abrupt. I think the ending was a bit too ominous to read to little kids, as it may make them a bit worried or scares. But overall a nice read about lore
