I have always been a huge fan of Aubrey Plaza, so finding out her creativity exceeds to writing, I was thrilled and knew I needed to immediately get my hands on this one.
Who doesn’t love a villain origin story? This was a beautifully crafted story rich in folklore and told with engaging and lyrical prose about the twin sister of who we know as Santa Claus and her name is Kristtōrn. This is the story of how she became the Christmas Witch and it was wonderful!
The audiobook I listened to courtesy of Penguin Random House Audio was narrated by the talented Plaza herself, bringing a wonderful voice to the story. This was a really quick listen and it absolutely put me in the holiday spirit!

4 pending 5. I listened to the audiobook today which was fantastic. They have background sounds which really adds to the experience. It's a quick 40-minute audiobook that will be perfect on Christmas Eve.

Didn't hate it or love it. The audio was well done. It has the kind of dark atmosphere I expected, and feels more like an urban legend without any real resolution.
