I definitely had a love-hate relationship with this story. While I really enjoyed the story of Ava and Alex’s friends to lovers, the spice was a bit over the top. No man is that verily and the degradation was also too much. I guess in the end, the story premise was good but the execution was sidetracked and just okay. Check your triggers before reading!

Twisted Love is a “cozy” dark romance. It’s fast paced and for avid readers, can start and finish it in a few hours or a day. 

I’m not sure how diverse it is, when the mfc is the only Asian character other than her family. I was flabbergasted that she didn’t have any other Asian or POC friends. 
I also didn’t like her so called “best friend”, who seemed underhanded in one scene then sweet and supportive in the next. It was very weird.

It was fine but way too dark for me. The main male is very aggressive and dark but he loves her in his own way.
