When I picked up this book off of my shelf I didn’t realize how much I truly needed it, how much my heart and soul really longed for the words in this book. The Universe knew it I suppose and I’m so glad It did. Tess is a wonderful writer. I know her mainly thanks to her podcast, Magic Monday, and though I have purchased a few of her books this is the first one from my Witchy TBR stack that I’ve read. It felt more like she was talking to me through the pages than it felt like I was merely reading her words. Everything was coming through loud and clear and I couldn’t be more thankful. I needed this book and if you are looking for something that might fill a certain void in your magical thinking I would highly suggest this one.

Everyone always seems to be looking for a book that goes beyond an intro to the craft and gets into what it actually is. Tess Whitehurst does a fantastic job of putting magic into everyday practice. Hey beginners... here is your next step!
Admittedly, Tess Whitehursy brings her own beliefs into the fold but offers alternatives for those who need it. I had so many takeaways from this book because I was open to put her suggestions into practice.
