This is Jack Harding's debut novella, and it is, hands down, one of the best novellas I have ever read. It's extremely tense, chilling, and unsettling. The ending was so unexpected, it literally made me widen my eyes in horror, and my stomach sank. Can't wait to read more by this author!

A tension filled psychological suspense/horror, React is a short story that packs a punch. I felt like I was right there with Nina, trying to figure out what was happening while becoming more harried and stressed with each turn of the page. Jack’s writing is attention grabbing and man, he knows how to nail an ending! I’d love to see what he does in a longer story with more character development, but React is a great example of how impactful a short story can be when done right.
