Another arbitrary title

Interesting book. Not sure how I feel about the situation but it was a page turner. Wouldn't recommend for anyone who gets easily frightened.

3.75 stars.
I remember when the BTK killer was caught in 2005. I was so happy to hear that the families could get more answers about the losses they had and hopefully justice (life in prison).

This book is brutal in the descriptions of what BTK did to people, all while having a family, working his job, and being a leader in his church. It is horrific and not easy to read some of the details. The killer kept full documentation of his own murders on top of it.

There were a few repetitive things in this book, but not too terribly done. I am glad this man admitted his own faults instead of trying to keep information hidden.

DNF. Usually I love books like this, but this was did not capture my attention at all. The writing is boring.

A well balanced approach to BTK - going between BTK, "Dennis Rader", the victims, their families and the officers hunting the killer. Of course this is a difficult read - you meet these real people and like them despite knowing what will happen. It's heartbreaking to hear BTK's recollection of the crimes. His victims meant so little to him - they were objects. My faith was restored hearing the stories of the people and their families who sacrificed to hunt down this monster. This is a wonderful read/listen for any true crime fan. Don't read this on a sad(for my emotional readers) or gloomy day.
