A great continuation of the first book in the series. Issy is still running her delightful cupcake shop, we are introduced to some new storylines and characters and some dramatic elements. Austin travels to New York for work, will they manage to make it all work out? A must read if you loved the first in the series.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free for a Blog Tour in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Firstly thank you to Lisa at Tasty Book Tours for letting me take part in this tour. I recently read Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe. I couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved it. It did give a a real craving for cakes though. So obviously when I saw that Christmas at Cupcake Cafe was going on tour I just HAD to join in.

This book picks up a year after the first book. While it is a sequel of Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe it can also be read as a stand alone novel.

Issy is now a running a successful business. The Cafe is thriving and it's nearly the festive season. However Caroline and Pearl are less than excited about the upcoming season.

Issy and Austin are great. They have had a great year together, even Darny enjoys having Issy around. But when Austin is head-hunted to move to New York the problems start to arise.

I really liked Maya and thought she was a good addition to this book.

Like the first book this has recipes at the beginning of most of the chapters which I really liked.

This books is sweet and funny as well as sad in places. This book is extremely addictive and will make you want to start baking those Christmas goodies. There is something about Jenny's writing that makes you want to keep reading and reading and reading. I can't wait to read more of Jenny's books.

Eh, this was fine. I didn’t ever feel any connection to any of the characters. I’ve really loved Jenny Colgan’s books in the past, but this one felt like it lacked a lot of depth.

C'était dur de quitter les personnages qui sont super attachants, les 2 tomes du cupcake café sont super beaux
