WOW. this is an emotional one. this book hit really really really close to home. tough to read for me personally. but a beautiful book about loving an addict so deeply you’d do anything to save them, to help them, to take away their pain. addiction is a disease. it is not a phase, it is not something we should brush off. addicts are not deadbeats. they are people. they are sons and daughters, and friends, and so much more. they are someone’s world. they deserve love.

if you are struggling with addiction, i promise it doesn’t have to be this way. you are not a failure. you are worth it. you deserve help. please use 988 as a resource if you are able and willing.
