i loved how it switched between human and cat/pet perspective and how the short stories were all interconnected in some way. i took a star off because there was a chunk in the last chapter that really confused me and i wasn't sure what the point of the story was. thankfully, it ended on a sweet note. i really enjoyed this one!!!

the kind of read that you should pick up if you want to read while drinking a coffee on your favorite coffee shop

same translator with Convenience Store Woman, maybe that's a factor why I lowkey liked this one too.

Such a cozy book! The prose was actually quite beautiful and I had so much fun reading between each woman and her cat's view. I especially liked seeing the cat's interactions with one another, their daily lives, and how they viewed the world and human issues. Very wholesome and I felt really appreciative/happy to be alive as I read the last few pages of the book. 10/10 would recommend if you want a short, cozy read.

This is a sweet short story collection that feels like it's a pitch for an OVA that they never picked up on. The stories are about women finding love and meaning in their lives via their cats, and they all show up in each other's stories, Very sweet and saccharine, but in a way that you like. Probably won't remember this by mid next year, but it's still a sweet diversion.

Aggressively heterosexual cats and cringefail humans combine in this chill collection of random life stories. I'd only recommend it if you're really bored.
