My rating is for the story in its entirety. This last volume is really amazing. It wraps up the ending and finally through all the dread, the never ending journey Killy faced along the way, he finally reaches the end and Nihei allows the readers to finally have hope in the story. No, the story isn't meant to be deeply understood, it is a beautiful story that focuses on loneliness and existence. Words are not needed, the artwork is beautiful like always in the last installment. I sometimes want to just go into Nihei's mind and see what he sees, interpret what he interprets.

The Story of "BLAME!" Is a masterpiece of all kinds. Killy is an interesting character.

After finishing this story, please check out NOiSE. It is the prequel to this story and is only 8 chapters. It goes into how the Netspere even became what it is in BLAME. It occurs thousands of years before, and the last part shows Killy before he became what he was. And then I recommend reading the Blame² chapters (Blame squared), there are 2 chapters in this, and it gives the final conclusion to the story we needed.

Overall, this is a masterpiece in writing and one of the greatest pieces of storytelling I have ever experienced. Nihei speaks through art, not through words. Admire the beauty, don't think too hard about it.

Okay, so I've finally finished the series, and I'm still not sure what I think. I keep changing my ratings back and forth between three and four stars. I think each book individually probably deserves three stars. But overall for the series and the concept behind it, it deserves a solid four stars. It was a bit odd to follow for me because of the lack of much dialogue and sometimes the art style. There's a lot of dark endless scenery and crazy fight scenes that occasionally make it a little hard to differentiate things. But even though I sometimes felt a bit lost I always ended up with a feeling of what happened by the end of each volume anyways.

去年末看了少女終末旅行
作者說是受到BLAME影響創作的
於是找來看看
雖說是科幻名著但我實在看不懂Orz
而且結尾有點凸兀
展開的劇情還沒收就完結了
也許是被斬了??

網飛有出劇場版
有空來看看,也許看完動畫回頭再看漫畫會比較懂吧
