I loved this delightful (anti) holiday novella. Cash Rivers and Aspen Bowen's age gap, forced proximity story has all the humor, heart and heat that I crave. Aspen's career is on the rise but she is afraid she will only be famous for her viral christmas song. She plans on spending the holidays alone, away from people who only want to use her, and write some new songs. Cash is worried about Aspen being alone in the mountains. They have connected, and grown close, through texts over the last year when she started renting his pool house. When he drives up to check on her, a fast moving storm strands them both. Now that they are in the same place, they are forced to face the feelings that grew over the last year of text conversations. As the nights get colder, their fiery chemistry is heating things up, making them give in to all their desires. But what happens when they are rescued and have to go back to their busy careers? I really adored everything about this enchanting, and sizzling story. Cash is so swoony as he takes care of Aspen, and she is funny as she keeps him grounded.
Emma Wilder and Sebastian York did a great job narrating this delightful romance and bringing it to life. I love their humor, banter, and chemistry, and their easy ability to make this heartwarming story of fated love feel real and authentic. They helped make this wonderful holiday romance even more entertaining and it will definitely warm your heart, make you smile and sigh over and over again.
