I'm not sure if I'm the best person to rate this book, because (gay or straight) I'm really uncomfortable with daddy kink and full-time D/s lifestyles. And even now I don't know how I read the description of this book and entirely missed the part where it mentioned daddy kink, because if I had noticed I wouldn't have downloaded it in the first place.
But I did miss the content notice, and I did download this book, and (seriously, no joke) by the second page I was completely hooked and already falling in love with Sterling.
This book was so, so good. I adored both the MCs, and the building of their relationship and Sterling's emotional healing and growth, were touching and beautiful. And had me in tears more than once.
I did end up skipping pretty much every sex scene (of which there were quite a few) because again, not at all my kink. But for me personally, while I'm sure I missed some moments of character development due to skipping those parts, I still loved these two characters and their overall story.
