I would say it was a lovely short heartwarming steamy novella. This feels like the kind of book you grab at the grocery store on the way to the beach and you get a little too sunburned because you forget to re-apply your sunscreen because you’re too engrossed. Really I’m a sucker for a simp and the MMC really is a simp for the main character. There really isn’t a lot to say about this book beyond it really, minimal to no conflict just pure fluff

This was a delightful little novella, perfect for an afternoon curled up by the fire or after a long week when you just need some sweet, sexy escapism. Halla might have been annoying in larger doses and Mathior was dreamy in ways no real man actually is, but I’m here for all the comfort and doting and protracted marriage rites :)
You know I love the world building lore but I could live without the couple.

I think I would have liked it more if they actually had the discussion about Holla giving up her throne. They started with that toward the end and it just fizzled out.
