I didn't really care for this. It was a short sapphic YA novel in verse with a vampire. I was disappointed; there was no lore or anything really resembling proper vampirism at all; she might as well have just been a regular person except for the drinking blood part.

Loved the concept of vampires as a person that is reborn and still has contact with all their past lives and memories - I definitely wanted to learn more about the characters and their relationships. However, the verse form felt limiting and I couldn’t personally get into it

This book consumed my entire being and then spat me out. It filled my heart completely and then shattered it into a million fragments. Beautifully crafted; this story written in verse perfectly transcribed innumerable familiar sapphic experiences and feelings, concealed within the framework of a cutesy vampire romance. I’m heartbroken. I have cried over this.
