Nicolas Sparks writes some of the best books. I loved this story and Mike! From the very beginning you want to root for the hometown best friend whose been in love with the girl forever. He was so great and adorable when he was nervous around her! My only complaint in this book is why did that have to happen? I won’t spoil it but if you’ve read it, you know what part I’m talking about! I couldn’t even read those scenes because my heart hurt too bad.
