WOW. Nicholas Sparks never ceases to amaze me. I'm not even sure how to put my reaction in words. My favorite character was Singer only because I feel like he was secretly Jim. Just read the book, that's all I can say.

An easy read, the story wasn’t groundbreaking but I had a fun time reading. Very sad ending.

I really enjoyed this read from Nicholas Sparks, he does have a talent for creating great plots and wonderful characters. One of my favorite writers, he never disappoints and his works make very entertaining visuals, although I usually need to have some tissues handy.

One of the best books. I couldn't put it down. The characters were so loveable and the end... Not a dry eye in the house.

It was a good book and I really enjoyed the parts of the dog “talking” or responding to the main character. As someone who has only had Great Danes this was completely heart wrenching. It really hit home with how they can be the most loving and protective animal, but to kill them off is just cruel. Only one star because this was up there with Marley and me and just so sad.

With this book I've finished all the currently published Nicholas Sparks novels and this was one of my favorites.

The start was dry and pretty boring, but once the thriller part kicked in I couldn't put the story away.
