5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Eric’s book because of how he acts and what happens in the first two, but I loved this book.He captures your heart with how he tries to change and do the right thing. And how he takes care of Jean and Ada is so sweet! Kylie Scott does an amazing job showing how ones person can learn from what happen before and finally find something that makes him feel wanted.

Eric is known as a playboy and after all that happened between him and Nell he still hasn’t changed. But when a newcomer comes to town, she captures his attention, until he finds out she is pregnant.

Jean is trying to start over after being forced to leave home when her parents don’t want to accept her pregnancy. And the friendship she has started with Nell definitely helps starting over. But what she isn’t expecting is Eric. He is nothing like she expects and ends up being exactly what she needs.

As they navigate their relationship and deal with Nell and the rest of the gang, they might find exactly what they are looking for. Eric is finally changing his ways and Jean is starting to see she can make it on her own. But will it be enough? Or will their insecurities and the chance to go back home come between them?

Chaser is book 3 in the Dive Bar series. It can be read as a standalone but it so much better read in the order the author intended.

Eric is the playboy. Always a different woman, no feeling just sex. His friends are all starting to mature and settle down, except Eric. He doesn't feel bad about his man-whoring ways but wants to show is friends he can grow up and too.

When Eric notices a beautiful woman coming into the bar he takes it upon himself to woo her with his charms. He thinks he feels a connection when he finds out Jean is going to be his neighbor. Woo-ing a single woman at the bar is one thing but seeing her day in and day out has him questioning himself. He finds out she's not only his neighbor but pregnant and trying to start over. Can Eric keep his distance?

I really enjoyed Eric and Jean's story. The build up between the two is slow but so worth it when they finally get together. I loved that Chaser is all in Eric's POV. If anyone can pull off an all male POV it's Ms. Scott! Eric and Jean have a real chemistry about them that isn't forced. It was a fun read and I can't wait for more.

I've loved each Dive Bar book so far but Chaser... just rocked my world! From the first page I was sucked in and glued to the very end, I just devoured this book.

Kylie Scott = brilliance.

You can read this as a standalone but I do recommend picking up Dirty & Twist so you can get to know the ins and outs of all the characters making appearances in each book.

This book is a fun, sweet and very addictive love story. If you haven't met Eric yet, then you are missing out!!

Do I recommend this book? Yes! Go "One-click" now!

I LOVED the first 3 of stage dive, 4th was Ehh. First of dive bar was good, not great, but good. Downhill from there. I just couldn't finish this. Eric was even more repulsive than in previous books, he just made me continually go Ewwww, slime ball!
I also found I didn't care a whole lot about Jean, she was just Ehh. not particularly interesting and I had no investment in sticking with the story just to see her end up with slime ball. Previously, I liked and cared about Nell, but she was a total bitch in this book.
Life is too short and there are too many books...couldn't finish it

This story was adorable and fun and so sweet. I loved the heart you could feel reading this story. It made me smile and also frustrated me at certain times. I absolutely loved it all though. The characters were entertaining and believable. I loved seeing especially Eric's progression throughout the story. This is a great series and I can't wait to read more!

Eric and his newly met friend Jean... book 3 in the Dive Bar series.

Overall, I enjoyed this series quite a bit. The Stage Dive member cameos are also awesome, and Eric and Jean MIGHT be my favorite couple in this series.

Eric, the consummate playboy, is ready to change his ways. We've already met him in this series, but this is his book. He is on the prowl after being chastised by his friend, Nelle, and meets her. She is already internet friends with this one and warns him away. But that's not needed since Jean is showing a baby bump already!

So, will this playboy change his ways? Hmmm....

I did enjoy this series as much or more than the Stage Dive series. I do enjoy Kylie Scott's books as nice, lighthearted rom-com books.

Eric is way too slimy and way too much of a womanizer for my liking. A whole book of him whining sounds terrible.
