Stunning! Passionate! Suspenseful!

Liam and Samantha’s love story is wrapped in layers that they continually have to cut through to find each other. Both are willing to break for the other. In Overture, we see Liam, the wise protector and in Concerto we see Samantha become a woman gaining equality in her own strength and judgment! She is shedding her child prodigy image and claiming an identity.

As much as I love personal growth, let's be honest; I'm here for the romance and love story! Concerto does not disappoint! It is fiery, passionate, and has just the right amount of kink. Liam is rough and dangerous, which matches his needs, actions, and dirty talking alpha ways when it comes to his sexual desires!

Samantha loves Liam. She wants love from Liam real love, affection, and emotions. She can no longer accept his protection and willingness only to give. She demands a real relationship if they are going to have a future! Give and take. Her greatest fear is he will never be able to, and as the reader, I fear it as well. I undoubtedly feel they are meant to be! This particular book is based on uncertainty which is not resolved.

I love the new characters. Tanglewood made for an impressive backdrop. Anytime Skye can integrate old Favorites I'm happy!

There is so much action and deception in this book!! Secrets are beginning to unravel, and the amount of betrayal is heartbreaking! It's sexy, primal, and raw at times! This story continues to grow deeper with mystery and complexity!

I cannot wait for the epic conclusion!

Liam and Samantha's story continue with Concerto. Being a music lover, I am feeling the build up to a crescendo in this part of the trilogy. With Samantha on tour now and away from Liam, she is given little independence. She is still in danger and it seems no matter how she is protected, it's not enough. Her father is always lurking. As hard as he tries to stay away, Liam just can't and their relationship though steamy, it still lacks the real love and commitment they both seek. Liam holds back. But now things are getting out of hand, the twists and turns are great, we don't know who to trust and the show is almost over. What will happen next? I can't wait to see! Skye Warren needs to bring this down with a strong forte and then glide into a beautiful love song! I am just hoping I am not asking for too much!

Teddy Hamilton and Grace Grant continue their wonderful narration of this story. They each bring a semblance of realism to the narration, where it's easy to understand each character's whims and motives. I loved it and can't wait for them to finish out the trilogy.

I think I have fallen in love with Samantha and Liam. This couple struggles with love and affection.
Liam is Samantha's guardian and has very unguardian like feelings for her. His need to protect her, keep her safe from outside forces stems from his inability to protect his brothers as children. His pain is palpable and devastating.
Samantha loves Liam as a guardian but so much more! This couple was doomed from when Samantha was 12 years old and Liam rescued her. His feeling of obligation in the circumstance created a life that neither of them could escape from.
Skye Warren writes emotionally draining stories which also become uplifting only to once again instill turmoil and strife. Her words touch the reader deeply and create feelings of love, hope, and despair at the same moment her characters grow and morph into themselves.
6 beautifully heartfelt stars!

If you thought that Samantha was pulling the strings, you were wrong! Skye Warren is truly the puppet master behind the heartstrings. Samantha may be a world class musician but Skye Warren is a magician. She weaves her magic through the notes, the interesting tidbits, and creates a Wonderland that blinds the eyes and surrounds the senses.

This rabbithole, Concerto, is a decidedly different and equally as twisted as Alice's. Enemies and friends...yet never knowing which is which. A love expected and yet not returned. On edge and free to be herself, except she can not without him.

Liam is a catalyst and also a solution. Samantha is struggling to figure out which aspect answers her questions and which rules her heart.

Concerto will amp your need, drive your adrenaline, and halt your body just before crashing you into a concrete wall- all while making your mind race with possibilities. The music is a way to control you (mind, body, and soul). Skye Warren has us exactly where she wants us...at her mercy; poised and waiting for Sonata!

Concerto by Skye Warren is a forbidden romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Grace Grant. This is book two in the North Security Series. Book three Sonata is currently not released on Audio but is available in print. Also, book four Audition will be available October 29, 2019. I cannot wait to dive into the sequels.

All I can say is wow! Skye did it again with an amazing sequel to Overture. I love the Dark Forbidden Romance with the Suspense throughout the novel. There are just enough sexual scenes for the romance portion, but I really love the suspense of the storyline surrounding Samantha and Liam life.

Teddy and Grace are an amazing duo. They really bring the story to life.

I have been waiting for this book since reading Overture. We get a continuation of Samantha and Liam's story.
Samantha has left the sanctuary of Liam's liar and is doing her world tour. Along the way she meets new people, makes friends, and tries to peel away at the wall Liam has built around himself.
We get to learn more from their pasts and learn why Liam is as protective as he is. There are also some twist and turns thrown into the story that by the end you are just not sure who to trust.

Concerto is the sequel to Overture, a trilogy story for Samantha and Liam. Skye Warren got me so hard, I am in love with her writing. Overture is amazing but Concerto has a new spark to it all, can't wait for what Sonata will deliver. Samantha the teenage prodigy growing up and becoming s strong woman. Liam have been through more than enough in his youth. The raw romance between them had me on my seat from page one until the last one. Liam is always looking to protect Samantha, not trusting anyone they are both struggling with the past and the new things life is throwing at them, making their relationship so vulnerable. This forbidden love romance comes with all kinds of twists and turns I need Sonata now!

Skye Warren's books just keep on getting better and better. Every new read from her always end up as my new favorite. She has the skill to lure you into the world that she created, to get invested with the characters that she conceived through the merging of her lustrous imagination and her poetically-charged writing.

She made me fall in love with Liam even more. His sense of honor, his dedication, his diligence, his love and loyalty to Samantha, his flaws.

Sam is a heroine that's easy to love and easy to relate to, because somehow, in some way, I've been through what they're experiencing. It's easy to relate to them and understand the meaning of their actions.

The side characters were also captivating for me. I want a of them to have their own books now, especially Josh and Beth, Harry and Jessica. Even Dierdre. They have all intrigued me and made me feel for them.

I love character-driven books with solid plots. I'm a sucker for them.

I'm mostly tempted to hibernate until the third books come out.

But honestly though, I love everything that Skye Warren writes and I would read anything and everything that she would continue to concoct in the future.

Concerto was good. It was angsty and gave background on why Liam is the way he is. I can’t wait to see how it all ends.
