I've enjoyed this book since the first time I've read it.

This was an uncomfortable read, but I know it wasn't meant to be a comfort read. As I was reading I really got the sense of how dark and corrupt the world is. I hated the misogynistic views about/towards women. I understand it's a product of its time, but I can still hate it. 

I thought the parts with Julia really moved the story forward.

I also see the irony of banning this book.
