A great wrap-up to this series!

Yes, there could have been a little less smut, and the book could have been shorter, but hey, I didn't mind that at all. Each of these books got a little better in my opinion, and I was definitely happy with the 4th and final installment of the MCs endings.

There were several characters throughout the books, but I will say, I think Hadriel will remain one of my favorites for quite some time. His silly bumbling and downright absurdity were just right!

You know that thing where you sped through the first three books and then had to wait for the last one to come out and then it’s been such a long time that you’re no longer really firm on what happened in the last one so you don’t really remember all the supporting people or care as much about things? Yeah, that’s this book. Good but not great.

Repetitive

The story itself was great. The characters were strongly written and held on to the same personalities throughout all four books, without any weird changes. I feel like this last book dragged, however, especially with every other page being a sex scene (that then last for 4-5 pages). Seriously, if you just skip the smut, you can cut your page count down closer to 500 as opposed to the 651 that's in the book. It had a much faster pace once I started skipping the repetitive smut, as was much more enjoyable to read.
Regardless, the overall story was well written and concluded nicely.
