I thought I had read spice before but this book, this book takes the fucking gold medal in spice. Holy shit.

The storyline was mostly great. I really enjoyed all the different characters and can't wait to find out more about their back story. I'm glad Moira called out Sunday on how unfair she was being towards Kingston. You fucking turned him down in front of everyone and then are mad that he isn't all giving and grace after? Like, wake up girl.

I wish there had been more relationship development between the characters. I was annoyed that pretty much every single male in this book had an instant love connection with Sunday. I wish there had been more of a natural falling in love between the characters. Instant romance just doesn't do it for me. Even her friend Moira was instant friendship. They never really bonded over anything? It made me sad that all the characters have this burning I'll do anything for you relationship with nothing as a backstory.

I also really wish the school was explained more. The book really brushed over classes and homework. I couldn't figure out 100% what they were actually learning at that school.

I can't wait to figure out more about Sunday. I can't figure out exactly what's going on with her. Why is her wolf unable to manifest? Why does she seem to have powers outside of just being a werewolf??

I also wonder if there is more of a reason to why she rejected Kingston? I mean the dude seems pretty solid over all. The excuse of she didn't want to bond with him because she was broken just didn't quite feel like enough??

The priest. Fucking father Caleb. No one in any book has ever got me so hot and bothered as father Caleb did. That spanking scene might be my new favorite spice scene I've ever read. Like boy you can spank me anytime you want! I had suspected he was the voyeur the entire time! I also can't wait to find out what he knows about the apocalypses and what it has to do with Sunday!

I'm so excited to read the next book!

The audio is next level with a full cast naration. I was hooked from the start with Sunday not bwing ablw to shift into her wolf and also rejecting her mate. When she gets sent away she meets her mate again along with 3 others 2 vampires one if which is a priest, and viking ans things get really interesting. The spice in this is amazing and I know its only the begining.

A supernatural university for the wolves, vamps, demigods, and witches of the world? Yes please.
Was this the greatest piece of writing ever? No, and some of the plot points were so wild. But did I lap it the fuck up anyway? Absobloodylutely.
I’m a little bit obsessed with Sunday and this dilemma she’s facing whereby 2 vamps, a wolf and a demigod are all in love with her, what an awful dilemma to have am I right? So interested to find out why they’re all drawn to her, and I enjoy the dynamics it creates. Even if the time we spend between different character POVs and relations means that none of the characters are 100% developed, I didn’t mind and actually have a soft spot for all of them regardless, I think Caleb is currently my fave🤪🙏✝️! And I know this is the first in a series so we’re only going to get more development from them all. Plus I also thoroughly enjoyed Sunday’s friendship with Moira. The little drips of information we get in this first book about how there’s some sort of higher cause going on too which has something to do with Sunday is v appreciated and I look forward to seeing how that overarching plot unveils throughout the books.
