This was okay. I didn’t love it like I thought I would which is a shame.

This was the gay hallmark rom com that I’ve been needing in my life. It was romantically cringy in the best way possible, and maybe I’m critical because I don’t read a lot of romance novels, but I still managed to fall in love with every character even with all the cliches in place. I also give a nod to the author who does not focus on these women making their whole identity about their sexuality. This is the first book I’ve read where it gives depth and reality to characters who also happen to be LGBTQ as opposed to making their one character trait the fact that they’re gay. I’ll be reading the next two Bright Falls books this summer for sure

i wasn’t the biggest fan of this book. it was really slow for a lot of it, in my opinion. the mcs were really cute and were interesting in their own, and that barley kept me from dnfing this book at multiple times.

Thank God everyone loves this
What's one more 5 star review to a flawless piece of queer literature that will probably go into the immortalized canon? Why isn't this a movie? Why did I wait this long to read it? Why don't I move to Oregon and wear vintage dresses and meet incredible queer icons in dive bars? I need more books about women in their 30s, that's a fact.

Queer points rounds this up to 5. It had heart, cutesy butterflies, some depth, good side characters, decently good queer sex scenes. I think it fights right in with some of the top straight romances.

This kept me entertained and I could listen without really thinking but it was also so predictable and kind of annoying by the end of it
