From the afterword I take it that this book was scrounged together out of 40-year-old stuff that Crichton decided not to publish while he was alive.  I'll just leave it at that....

An easy read. A lot of interesting features regarding Native American history. Not sure why but I was very slightly disappointed - perhaps I had too high expectations!
