More enjoyable than some from its genre, but not the best I have read. The writing style, however, was a breath of fresh air.

Dark and Sexy! This was a action packed read! I loved it! I enjoy the point of view from both characters! Mikhail was Dark, Sexy and Dangerous! I love his all consuming desire for Ali. Ali was smart, sweet, and tough! I loved her ability to stand up for herself and accept Mikhails lifestyle. They were perfect together! Alexis sure can write Steamy Scenes!! Don't pass up this read! I received an Arc from the author in exchange for a honest review.

The part I enjoyed most about this book was how Alicia grew during her time with Mikhail. She ended up strong enough to stand by his side rather than constantly having to hide behind him.

This book started out pretty interesting.
I knew from the first page i was going to like him.

We start out with Mikhail releasing his 'tension' ready for his job.
The next part is very fast paced and action packed.

When we meet Alicia she's very confused on whats happening and then you have Mikhail a imposing figure that makes her ask more questions then solving them.

Alexis Abbott has a way of writing that makes you like the Hero when he is meant to be the bad guy.

I can't wait for more!

I really enjoyed this story! Mikhail and Alicia are great characters. Alicia is in a bad situation and has no idea just yet. She has been drugged by her boss and his friends. Mikhail has been sent to kill her boss. Mikhail takes out everyone else in the hotel room but Alicia. Instead he rescues/kidnaps her. He knows that he has to keep her hidden and out of sight to keep her safe but he's having a hard time with what she makes him feel. Alicia is stuck between being attracted to Mikhail and feeling like she needs to escape and hate him. She goes back and forth quite a bit on this, which is understandable. She's in a situation that she wasn't prepared for and never expected to be in. Her reactions made the story believable for me. Yes, she's drawn to him, but she realizes that there is more there and with the situation being what it is she doesn't just give in to those feelings at first. This connects back to Saved by the Outlaw, though it is a standalone story. Mikhail is Leon's brother and the stories cross a short bit but you don't get the other side and by reading both of them you do. I thought it was really well done. The sex is explicit and a little on the dark side but nothing major. Mikhail is a alpha male and it comes out in the bedroom for sure. Mikhail is possessive, once he allows himself to be. Alicia has to quickly adjust to what is going on around her and I thought that she adapted well and believably. There is quite a bit of action in this story as well. It will keep your attention the whole time.

Captive of the Hitman is a good book to read for fun, action, and some hot scenes.

Mikhail is a hitman for the Bratva. He is a loner and always gets the job done.

Alicia is trying to make a name for herself, but politicians can't be trusted. She is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

A turn of events that neither expected puts them in each others lives.

Alicia finds her strength and ability to be honest with herself. Mikhail softens...some. Both of the characters grow and develop. The story is fun and exciting. A little predictable. A good quick mafia hitman story.

Another amazing book by this author. I just fall more and more for her characters, and the stories are all unique, yet share some similarities. It is never boring, travelling along with the characters of these books and I just cannot seems to get enough.

Mikhail is THE top hitman of the Bratva, he'll assassinate just about anyone as long as it's not women or children, that's his code. And for this mission he was sent to kill a politician and everyone with him. However, the h -Alicia- is witnessed by him, to have been under the influence and not acting natural when exiting a limo. When the 2 meet its an instant unexplainable attraction for both and totally against character for Mikhail. They have an interesting journey in order to face repercussions of Mikhail saving Alicia after hotel CCTV shows her entering the room but not one of the bodies found.

This was written well as all other books by Alexis and can't wait to see what new material she comes up with next.
