What a great, fun, strange, and beautiful book! Love it!

The book is definitely worth reading but I recommend reading the ending note by the author first (which normally I absolutely hate doing). Without it, the book is almost too bizarre and without context. With it, the book is still super stranger but infinitely more interesting.

I wish I could give this 3.5 stars. What an odd little wonderful book of poem and painting. A meditation on love, loss, destruction, and potential - the story of a lamb who wants to be human and the girl who loved such a lamb.

Glorious. I will have to read it again and pay better attention to the motifs running through the paintings.
