Such a good story backed up by real facts about Britain's poverty. This story is about bullying, friendship, loss and choosing to be kind. The adults were really good characters too. It reminded me a little bit of Orbiting Jupiter.

This book was an amazing quick read - I read it in one sitting in around 40 minutes - and yet was still quite enjoyable. The only negative I have is that Cal and Jacob didn't get together. In my opinion, they should have, not Freya and Cal. I rated this book 2 stars, because I enjoyed it, but I didn't love it - I wouldn't reread it. The characters started off fine, but as the book went on, they became annoying, particularly Jacob. Jacob's personality change was just unrealistic for me in the short amount of time this book took place in.
