Messy, messy, messy. Natasha Bishop had me in shock from the jump. I don't want to spoil anything, I say, just read this and you can decide for yourself! I loved every moment of this book, from the main character, who is 30 years old, and an established woman, to the romance scenes that made me swoon, it was such a fun read.

A good read

This book was pretty good. I found myself wanting to hurry and read what was happening next. The dialogue and conflict was one I haven’t really seen in a story so that was refreshing. I mean you’re the maid of honor at your sisters wedding to you ex?! Geesh, talk about family drama. I loved Rome. He had me the moment of the yatch and reading. I’m like sis a man that gives you this kind of luxury privacy to read?! Where do I find one lol? But Rome was very clear about his intentions and there was no miscommunication between him and Janelle which will always get me as I’m a sucker for clear adult communication. There was enough spice in the book as well. I appreciate the end and the main character not just automatically forgiving those who caused drama but instead reflecting on the hurt they caused and being sympathetic but also learning to love and put herself first. Side note i think it would be cool for this to become a series with the books as standalones series that focuses on the other friends in the group as they seem interesting.

I’m in love

This book was so good! Each person was so real I felt like I knew everyone personally. I absolutely loved them and I am soo proud of the author’s ability to touch on how hard it is to stand up for yourself with family, and be okay with choosing you.

This will definitely get a reread.

I AM SO HAPPY I READ THIS BOOK! The book is a 4.5 ⭐️'s. This is my first book from this author and it did not disappoint. I had such a fun time reading about the characters, the drama, and the banter between J and Rome. Oh my gosh, Rome... is such a sweetheart. He really gave the world to her (as she deserves anyway) along with speaking truths on what J needed to hear to become the better version of herself. Also, the spice between the two was hot. 🥵

This book got me hooked since page one. One thing I got to say (I do not want to reveal too much), is J and Ri's relationship killed me in the beginning since I knew Ri was projected her problems toward J. I know how it feels so I feel for J a lot. Actually, I was J in first half of the book when I was younger. Just being the "good girl/sister" and basically have no boundaries with anyone. However, when she stood up against her mom and sister, I had the biggest grin on my face. I am glad they got what they deserve.

Overall, this book was such a great way to start to my vacation. I cannot wait to read more of Nastasha's work.
