I'm speechless. All I know to say is, absolutely phenomenal read. I was not at all expecting that ending, it was so well done.

Certainly fascinating narrative structure. The exceptional writing skill keeps readers engaged, even during the intricate weaving of these unique threads.
In this book, two narrators unfold their stories in parallel, across two distinct timelines. These two run side by side, echoing each other, until they unexpectedly collide in a way that surprises me.

This book wasn't bad but it also didn't astound me either. I didn't find the characters unlikeable enough, it felt like I was supposed to be rooting for Theo. The story at the beginning was strong but I found myself glazing over parts in the middle because it felt like it took forever to get anywhere. I didn't *quite* predict the ending so points for that but there were so many unanswered questions and plot holes. Also the audiobook narrator had an inconsistent accent.

While I did guess the twist in the beginning of the book, I still thoroughly enjoyed reading through the entire thing and learning all the details. Honestly it’s been a while since I’ve read a book that managed to grab my attention entirely. I’d definitely re-read this and recommend it to anyone who wants to read something that has a good twist to it, while also liking investigation & crime content

I really liked the ending of this book, it was a little boring at the start and Theo's character was definitely creeping me out, but the ending was really well done. I was very invested.
