Something Blue

Emily Giffin

Enjoyable fluff. One of those guilty pleasures; like reading US Weekly at the hair salon or wathcing "The Real Housewives". I shhould have saved it for the beach! I REALLY disliked the heroine for the majority of the book, until her awakening, then the ending seemed a little too nicely "tied up". I recommend for those times you're coming off a heavy read and need some garden variety chick lit. The equivilant of reading People magazine.

Liked it better than the first... Very sweet ending

Didn't think I'd enjoy a story told from Darcy's POV but I loved it!

The start was so incredibly infuriating I wanted to not finish this book. The main character was such a pain in the ass that I was getting the ick from reading it but I persevered and I’m glad I did because the book really did have a turning point about halfway in. It’s very predictable but kinda wholesome and the ending was very sweet.
I wouldn’t say I’m dying to reach another Emily Giffin book but I could go there…

Darcy annoyed me so much, but the book was so interesting that I was hooked!

I actually loved this book more than 'Something Borrowed'. I loved Darcy's transformation, and I loved the blossoming relationship between Darcy and Ethan. I loved everything about this book, and personally think it is better than the first, although you have to read the first to understand Darcy's story.

Couldn’t finish the book - whilst I loved Something Borrowed. I found the character of Darcey very difficult to empathise with. The ending seemed obvious - and I just didn’t enjoy the journey
