After cruising through and really enjoying Something Borrowed (the first book), I found myself somewhat disappointed in this story. While it's always nice to see an uppity main character get her due, this one wrapped up a little too neatly. Decent fluff read - just not one I'll probably remember for too long.
And ok, FINE, I read the next book, too. I didn't like this one as much as the first. Never bought the (spoiler alert) plotline that Darcy was falling for Ethan. I felt compelled to finish, and it was an easy read, but I just did not find Darcy (even reformed as she was) a sympathetic character, so I didn't really care what happened to her. Quick summer read, glad it came from library.
Didn't think I would like this as much as Something Borrowed, but it was surprisingly more interesting. This book takes off right after the end of Something Borrowed but is told through the eyes of the other main character.
I loved this book! I hated Darcy in the first book and this book made me love her. I loved how much she changed from beginning to end in this book. I'm so glad I finally read these books.
Well, that redeemed the series. Darcy grew tremendously and became genuinely likeable. Rachel and Dex faded in to the background in the sequel. It all wrapped up as this genre of book/movie should to a satisfyingly endearing ending. Glad I read the sequel to the stupid first book.

This is the second and final book in the Darcy & Rachel series. It was a fast, fun read and sometimes you need a book like this! It is a great summer read!
