Liked it a lot. Fun to hear Darcy's side and watch her character grow.
I like this author's style of writing. She has an interesting voice and makes her characters flawed and very entertaining.
There was a large gap between when I read the first book and this book so I forget the majority of the details in the first book. I did know the gist of it that Dex left Darcy for Rachel or something to that effect.
The main character is completely ridiculous. Of course half way through after a lashing by her friend she realizes she is a horrid person and must change. This reminds me a lot of the Shopaholic books. The character is ridiculous, crazy and you borderline hate her in the beginning then something happens where she redeems herself and you feel semi decent towards the character at the end. This is how this book goes. Oh well, I can cross this off my list

Read this Because I finally watched something borrowed and decided I wanted to know what happen next in case it got made into a movie (like the rumors I’ve heard). Turned out I had picked this book up at some point over the years and never read it so decided now was as good a time as any!
The character of Darcy is an interesting one, she has a very active imagination and has clearly had most things in life go here way. Her selfishness was a bit hard to watch and her transformation, while mostly believable, seemed a little abrupt in ways.
It was a bit of a slower read for me which is why I gave it 3 stars but I did think it was a cute story and I’m looking forward to seeing the movie.

Not nearly as good as the first one! So you are supposed to hate the main character when you meet her the first time in "something borrowed" and then feel sympathetic in the second one? Not for me.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this story from Darcy's perspecive. It wasn't as good as Something Borrowed, but it is well worth the ready. My full review is on the blog. http://jacquesbooknook.blogspot.com/2012/06/something-blue-by-emily-giffin.html
It took a few chapters to get into this book, but the character development was much more enjoyable than the Something Borrowed. The storyline was very entertaining and I loved the telling story of 2 friends who made each other better. An easy going read we are all looking for in the romantic comedy genre.
This was soo much better than the first but you need to read there first one to get all what’s going on
