The sequel to Something Borrowed takes a different approach- instead of taking Rachel's perspective, this book uses Darcy's perspective. I had a harder time feeling any empathy for Darcy, and I flat out did not like a few things that were revealed at the end.

I thought this was better then the first. Made me want to keep reading.

Not as good as "Something Borrowed" -- I spent most of the time disliking the main character.

Decided to read my last unread Giffin while stuck in many lines, waiting rooms and lobbies today. My least favorite. Mostly because Darcy, the main character, was just not interesting. I like a fun "bad girl" or self-centered-but-heedless character. But Darcy was just annoying, not amusing.

Light. Fun. A good distraction. But not up to the quality of her other work.

Found Something Borrowed to be a better read but this does a good job at showing the story through the eyes of Darcey--the main character in the book. Looking forward to reading more Emily Giffin books, she does a great job painting the images of the characters in the book.

Darcy, the woman I loved to hate in Something Borrowed, has a sort of wake up call and becomes a "new" woman. Many stresses overcome here but she does an about face and comes out on top. I wish the next book by Emily Giffin followed Darcy even further.

another fun "beach read", but what's amazing about this is the author can switch to first person from the antagonist's perspective in Something Borrowed, and make me CARE about what happens to this girl. Essentially though, it's about growing up, about self-reflection, and even redemption. And of course love. A fun read I couldn't put down.

The first book in this series, Something Borrowed is one of my favorites so I was a little nervous that Something Blue would not live up to my expectations. I was wrong. It was an awesome book that I read in one night. If you are a fan of Something Borrowed, Something Blue is a must-read. Emily Giffin rocks!

better than something borowed.

After reading the first book, I immediately wanted to read more of the story.

I didn't realize that this one would be in Darcy's POV and for the first third of the book, I was grumpy about it. She has one of the worst personalities ever and reading from her perspective made me want to smack her even more.

However, as the book progressed, Darcy grew on me. I was glad to see her grow and learn as a person, too.
