Sort of a sequel to Something Borrowed. I actually liked this one better.

I really liked this book. We start out with Darcy who is shallow and thinks herself blameless in something borrowed. She is able to grow into a wiser, kinder woman. Going into the book I didn't think I would end up liking her character at all but she really grows on you and you get to see her transform from a selfish and vain brat into a beautiful woman who thinks of others before herself. Loved how it ended(won't put a spoiler in)!

I really enjoyed this! It was easy to read, and I love her style of writing. It's so conversational and easy to relate to... you just want to know more. I think I enjoyed the first book more, but this one was good in its own way.

At least one character in this book had a redeeming quality and that was Ethan, still didn't like Darcy even if Ethan did eventually make her a better person. This time I was able to focus on the story line and liked it less then the first in the series

These might be the least likable characters in fiction. But I was on the bus, and it was an easy read.

It was definitely better than Something Borrowed. It had a few more twist and turns.

Loved it! Such a fun, easy read. And I teared up at the end.

At the end of [b:Something Borrowed|42156|Something Borrowed (Darcy & Rachel #1)|Emily Giffin|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1305063535s/42156.jpg|1789440], I really didn't like the character Darcy, so it was interesting coming into the sequel knowing it was written from her point of view. And in the beginning Darcy lived down to my expectations. She's spoiled, self-centered, and all-around kind of a bitch. But as the story continued, Darcy became more and more self-aware and generally a better person. By the end, I liked who she had become and where her story had led her. Overall a great ending to the Rachel and Darcy saga.

Here’s the thing - Darcy still won in the end. Ethan was Rachel’s and she kept up with Rachel. Ethan is way too good for Darcy, even if her character changed.

Well, I will be forever traumatised from one little line in this book…
