This book was such an easy read and kept me interested the whole time. I love that there was a twist early on and then the twist with the protagonist that made me question how reliable she was.

3.5 stars. At first, I was super into this state. I kept guessing about who the culprit was..But at one point I lost interest because I felt like there was too much going on that didn’t need to be included. But, then I was hooked again. Overall I enjoyed this one.

This was my first read by Megan Collins, and I knew from the moment the dedication referenced Taylor Swift's "The Prophecy," that this book was going to be a win for me—and it was. The story wasn’t predictable, and I loved the way it was written to make you constantly wonder, is she crazy (you know, the word we’re not supposed to say). The twists kept me hooked, and the layered storyline made it engaging. I’ll definitely be picking up more from Collins.

DID NOT FINISH: 6%

Another commenter said “Rosie is a pathetic shell of a woman whose desperation was impossible for me to connect with.” That was my feelings exactly. The other female character at the beginning was as well.
