This was okay, but I was a little disappointed after the excellence of volume 1. I also wasn't too big on the flashback aspect, and just wanted to get back to the current story. I'd probably have been even more annoyed if I were reading it in comic book form, and couldn't just go out and get the next volume.

It's been a little while since I've last watched Angel, and I can't even remember a couple of these characters, so I really don't care to read a backstory about them.

Read for Book Roast's Magical Readathon: NEWTs Exams. Subject: Astronomy, E Level. ("Night" in the title)

I was planning on reading After the Fall Volume 1 for a different category, but ended up changing it because I kept falling in love with the first book in a series and needing to make room for the next one. So, in a nice reversal, I had to leave out book one of this series and start with book 2. Appropriate.

Thankfully, I didn't miss....okay, yeah, I missed a lot. Holy sheep shit, Batman, at the last chapter. They did WHAT?! TO WHO?! TO MY PRECIOUS CHILD?!

Yeah, I'll be reading volume 1 after this readathon is over.

Not used to reading graphic novels, but since I'm a huge Buffy fan, I thought I'd give these a try. I'm very much enjoying the series so far. This one picks up right where the series ended and explains what happened to each character following the battle in the alley. I cant wait to read volume 3.

I liked it, was a quick reading, answered some questions but left many others.

This series is really throwing me off. It takes place between the end of the show and the beginning of the first book. The artwork is all over the place and none of the stories is really that interesting, with the exception on Wesley. I mean, Conner running around and hiding for 5 pages, really? Not a very strong follow up to the first book. I had thought the back story leading to the events in the first book would have been much more engaging and informative than what we were given.
