4.5 stars. i am deceased. the book was a lot longer than it needed to be. the ending felt like tooooooo much of a cliff hanger, but i’ll be reading the next of course.

Wish I could rate this higher since I was obsessed with the first book. I had to force myself to finish it. Full of weird sentences, corny dialogue, boring plot and I feel like there wasn’t much that changed in character development between book 1 and 2.

I literally don’t care that Xaden is turned venin at the end. He kind is sucked in this book but so did Violet. She isn’t my favorite protagonist but she is way more annoying now. A third of the book is just violet and friends reading and studying. They also had to go back to school?? Like what.
