This book was definitely not for me, if you love smut and maybe like 5% plot then this book gets an A+  because that’s what it was all about. I absolutely hated it, I had such a hard time finishing it but again I am not into smut and it didn’t help that it  hardly has a plot.  I also hated how toward the end a bunch of little a whole bunch of characters are added to the story.
The book was supposed to be about rescuing Anywylls  brother and he and his mate go on the journey to find the antidote and well….  You get to find out when you are about 95 percent done with it and even then it’s questionable….

I really like how plot is fast going and even though everything is thrown at them they always find a way out.
Love their love story, so sweet and romantic yet later so hot 🔥🥵 knotting and primal play, be ready for extra spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Giving a 3 because it had potential to be a great story and I didn't have a horrible time with it

I wasn't expecting the insta-love, kinda not my thing. I was expecting more of insta-lust and them work toward love, but fine. Whatever.

Also, can someone please explain the confusion between Ice Elf guy and the mates? One page, it says his mate is the dragon prince, then the next page (okay, more like next two pages) Rarity is his mate. Just a little consistency would be nice.

The writing is still questionable but a little better?

Edit: the blurp for the 3rd book updated after my review. Apparently the mating situation between the dragon, elf and the vamp is explained in #3

soulmates through and through. January never disappoints
adventurous dark emotional fast-paced

Just bad

I love this series so much. It is dark and so spicy. Although, you need to read the books in chronological order in order to easily follow along and really appreciate this series and the characters. From the first book before all of the characters were introduced, I was already wanting more.

I felt for Anwyll and what he had endured. He was a tortured soul. He thought that he would never find his mate or deserved love. So, it was extra special to see him get his mate. Ru is the perfect one for him. I loved that Anwyll was the inexperienced one and Ru the experienced one. Yet, when Anwyll's wolf side came out, things really heated up. January Rayne has made me an eternally a fan of her's!

I loved this book! My first jump back into fantasy (since twilight days) was by January Rayne and she does not disappoint!

I loved the storyline and the adventure these two go on, however if you're not into spicy scenes don't read this book, it's full of them!

We met Anwyll for the first time at the end of Eternally damned, I'm glad we got to see his history and I loved his POV's. I loved Ru for Anwyll, she knew exactly what he needed and adapted so quickly!

Although it was very insta love (obviously) I did really enjoy it. Loving this series!

Good book, glad to see the main characters from the first are in this one. Great smut scenes and tons of action! Great read!

Anwyll and Ru’s journey is such an EPIC Five Star Read! This is such a magical journey that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. Easily one of my Top Favorite Reads of 2023! I took my time with this one and really enjoyed this world that January created.

”Need to bite. Need to claim. Need to—“ the green eyes fade and Anwyll returns, his brown eyes staring back at me. I saw a glimpse of the alpha hiding within. And I can’t wait until the day I get him to truly come out and play.”

Eternally Cursed is such an emotional rollercoaster. Ru and Anwyll go through so many heart wrenching moments together. Moments that are filled with laughter, heartache, and fiery levels of heat that will send tingles down your spine.

Anwyll and Ru are the definition of “Fated Mates”. They are perfect for each other. They push and pull when they need it. They dominant and submit when they need it. (I love a strong dominant female character who can just take the reigns but also submit to her beast because she knows that is what he needs) Anwyll is such a complex werewolf, he has such a heartbreaking past and the memories that torture him daily, that only Ru can calm, gives him the reassurance and confidence that he needs to not only love himself, but recommit to his beast inside him.

”The pulse in her neck has me licking my fangs, my instincts telling me to mark her, to make her mine, to claim, to own, to have, and to f*cking take. I want to rub my scent all over her and make her smell of me so every creature in this house knows she belongs to me.”

Then their is Ru. She is just something else all on her own. She is just full of love for others around her and has such a pure, kind heart. She always sees the good in people, especially when they are struggling to see it for themselves. (Especially Anwyll. He seriously broke my heart) These two don’t waste any time once they meet. Being with a werewolf comes with a strict timeframe and it does not disappoint.

I loved seeing familiar faces from Carnival of Creeps and Eternally Damned. If you haven’t read those yet, be sure you do!

January does such a wonderful job bringing to life this complex world. We have so many different planets and creatures that I quickly became interested in who and what they creatures are. January has re-sparked my love for the paranormal world. She has quickly become my favorite Go-To Author for the paranormal.
