This one was my least favorite. I enjoyed the concept of fox shifters, the writing was good, I didn’t have one complain about the character’s personalities or what they did in the book, etc….But I was so bored reading this! There was no excitement and it did not hook me in at all. What I did like is that this one seems to be linking all the others together. Throughout the series, so far, there is one event that occurred through two different books/stories that links all the couple together, even the first book plays a part when the event happens. So this book takes place in the background (different location) of when it is all happening, but as he is a second to Garrett, he later is tied into it all too. As a result though, I felt there was less of the romance in it. Overall, it was an unexciting story with unexciting characters.

This is the first book I've read from this series and I'm hooked. I loved the fun and humour in the book, Foxfire and Tank are two wonderful characters and the plot really drew me in. Firefox is just such a wonderful heroine, strong and independent but with such a longing to fit in and belong - she totally caught my heart.

The story had me from the first page and kept me reading until I had finished it. Both Foxfire and Tank felt very real and believable (other than being able to shift into an animal!). They had amazing chemistry, which I totally bought into. The bedroom scenes are steamy, without being too prolific, overly detailed or so crude they're a turn off. This is a romance driven very much by a good plot and well written characters, rather than by a multitude of sex scenes.

I had no idea where the plot was heading, or what would happen next, but I totally enjoyed going along for the ride. What starts of as a simple task soon turns into so much, with mystery shrouding so many events.

I have every intention of reading more books from this series and if you enjoy shifter stories I highly recommend this as one of the best ones I've read.

Loved it.

I loved the story of Tank and Foxfire. I found it well written and the story was compelling. Can't wait to read more.

Foxfire was the epitome of a smartass, but the chemistry she and Tank had was great. Their characters were fun, kind of snarky, and well matched. Tank was the beta of the pack, but he absolutely was an Alpha male.

Foxfire was funny, quirky, fearless, independent, smart, and drove Tank to distraction. Tank had no idea what he was getting into when he went to fulfill an assignment from his alpha. I was also impressed with the way Foxfire took her newfound situation in stride.

A sexy, romantic suspense with a good deal of action and mystery.

I believe this book is my favorite of the series. I thought I enjoyed the ebook. I LOVED the Audiobook. It seemed more intense, much funnier, and more entertaining. Benjamin Sands did an excellent job narrating!!

I voluntarily listened to and reviewed the audiobook.

Good but not best

I love the fact that we are introduced to more shifters in this book, different species to what we've already met, and I like that characters we've met in other books are part of more books.

However, as fun as this book was, I can't help that I didn't quite connect as much as I did others in the series.

Maybe Tank isn't Alp a enough for me, who knows. *shrug*

Okay, I really liked this one! We've got a sunshine, self-aware manic pixie fox, and a big grumpy caregiving wolf, on a road trip!

● So many scenes of him comforting her, feeding her, and taking care of her - gah so cute. Sorry but I'm total trash for that.
● I tagged this with bdsm and daddy kink to be on the safe side, but really it's pretty mild.
● Like the previous books in this series, the 3rd act wobble seemed a bit forced, but this one was resolved well and didn't leave me outraged so I was fine with it.
● Best Supporting goes to her hippie, free-love mom!

I am loving this series and I'm really hard pressed to determine a favourite. I love Foxfire & the way she uses her sassiness as a way to cope. I love Tank and the pull that he felt towards Foxfire. But these 2 together are definitely combustible! I love all types of romance stories but some of my favourites include a good dash of fun. This delivers on all sides. Wonderful
