A solid, low spice romance with found family and a side of paranormal. Very cute and cozy.

I didn’t hate it. But I didn’t really like it either.

It was cute but the book didn’t pick up until the last few chapters and felt rushed in the end, leaving you feeling a bit disappointed as a reader. However I loved the representation and the idea of the book.

I liked this! I didn’t realize it was fantasy but I liked the hints of fantasy melded with real world concerns. I like the characters backstories and personalities. It all worked well together to create a found family without being overly cheesy.

Hmm kinda weird. There was just sooo much going on. It felt like 3 different plots that didn't need to intermix.

The character development in general was good but the romance was undeveloped and choppy

Super cute, very good blend of genres, nice vacation to a world where almost everyone is kind. Loved the variety of characters and the found family dynamic. Very cozy .

I have quite a bit to say about this one. I feel like everything that happened in the last 100 pages should’ve happened much much sooner. Like 70% of the book was just a slice of life story with little to no romance until well over halfway through. I feel like it would’ve been so much more enjoyable if what happened at the end happened in the very beginning and we built on that.
Some things felt forgotten.
Like when iris finds out her parents aren’t her parents and it’s almost never spoken about again? And I think she forgives eli too fast without doing much reflection (that we see).

Overall would be enjoyable if there were any real romance outside of the last chapter
