This shouldn’t be book 4 in this series. It should be a spin off. I was really disappointed that we didn’t really spend time with any of the characters in the original trilogy, while I love the found family trope this book just kept telling me it was found family like I wouldn’t realise it. While this book has major problems. The side characters were great and kept me invested.

Spoilers below!

Also the stalking aspect was weird, guy has one interaction with her when he’s a kid and basically stalks her till they’re in their 20’s at least. (That’s some Criminal Minds sh*t, if she’d rejected him in the coffee shop, this could have turned into a very different book. Just saying) And when it’s revealed he’s stalked her, she’s just like well no one’s perfect… wtf?!?

I loved all the characters. I wish I could know them in real life.

Cute fun and cosy read. Loved the main character Iris, found her very relatable and the whole found family was so lovely and kind. A story full of goodness, kindness, happiness and magic. Just loved it!

This is a wholesome romance, with no spice. Make sure you’re aware of that before going in because a lot of people tend to see the cartoonish covers and still expect to see spice. It is cozy, which isn’t always my favorite, but does feature diverse character, has the found family trope, and LGBTQIA+ representation. Eli is also a borederline stalker, which I can get with when it’s a dark romance, but can feel icky when the book is marketed as cozy and wholesome - which it is in every other aspect.

Quick, cosy, fun read. One of the more annoying parts was the ML dragging out a misunderstanding, and the story wraps up in a very Deus Ex Machina way at the end. But overall it was a good read.

Other readers mention that this is part of a series, but it reads more like a spin-off series to Fix-It Witches rather than a continuation.
