It has been awhile since I have read one of Darynda's books and it makes me wonder why. I love her stories. The quirky Charley, red hot Reyes, always loyal Cookie, and the never ending supply of dead people. Action packed and a bunch of humor to go with it. Can't go wrong with a Charley Davidson book. 4.5 ⭐️
I didn't see the point of the end, it had nothing to do with the plot of the book, only served to torture Charley a bit. Otherwise I really enjoyed the book.

I love Charlie's humor and Reyes's everything. I love Cookie's heart and Uncle Bob's no nonsense protective personality. Why did I wait so long to read this book!?! And the ending! The ending was like Wow.. Just uber butterflies in my tummy yay!
I dont' like recaping this is the 5th book you should know what's going on. Charlie sees dead people. She is in love with Satan's son. He's dark and dangerous. She solves crimes. There are moments and characters that tug at your heartstrings. You will laugh, you will get really quiet and try to smooth down the goosebumps creeping up on you, and you will revert to a 13 year old girl with a crush.
