Some fascinating ideas in this one, so many possibilities with Quantum Computers. One must hope in most of the "good" ones!
My personal conspiracy theory is that every Michio Kaku book is a new 1/4 of the book, but then the remaining 3/4 is just called "the rest of science I guess" where you get 1000 watered-down basic explanation of other "hot" topics (AI, string theory, global warming) and talk about how this specific "science-thing" will impact that industry in some groundbreaking way. Which is cool, but never lingers long enough to feel impactful. Oh well, still learned some cool things and if you're 70+ write whatever you want man cash that check.

It is a bit disappointing that it feels more like reading a report than a general book, but it is definitely the most detailed and insightful book on the potential of quantum computers.
I found this book to be interesting in trying to explain a complex subject. At times the stories or topics seemed to be repeated and that seemed to reduce the enjoyment of the content however. I have enjoyed many of the authors books. This was good although I’m not sure I would see it as one of his better efforts.

Michio Kaku is a brilliant mind and in this book he lays out an inspiring blueprint for harnessing quantum advancements for the better good of all humankind. This is a nice change from all the ethical concerns that usually leave me feeling dread. But Mr. Kaku blew my mind with some possibilities that I never considered and truly left me inspired for how we can evolve as a human race. Of course, all this depends on humans applying quantum computing for good and not greed/power/control. We should all listen carefully to Michio Kaku and hopefully the right people apply his wise philosophy.
Highly recommend!

For an individual with a novice understanding of quantum mechanics, I felt that I learned a lot from Kaku's explanation of quantum supremacy. It helped me to better understand the current limits of understanding from a scientific standpoint; however, as he outlined the idea of the God equation, it allowed me to make comparations and understandings from the standpoint of the arts. I find it interesting how scientific minds struggle to understand the arts and humanities point of view and how arts and humanities struggle to understand the scientific stand point. Where I would like to continue to learn from this book and Kaku as a scientist would be the blending of arts, humanities, and science to build a holistic understanding of the universe and how it works.
