I work in a global role, but two of my biggest stakeholder countries are India and the US. I am forever going about things in the wrong way for India - like ignoring hierarchy - and misinterpreting my American colleagues' emails, they seem to abrupt.
My manager (Australian) recommended this book and I've been slowly working through it for probably 6 months or so now. Every chapter I connected with colleagues to see what they thought. One of the last chapters is about the way different cultures view time and I was surprised that Russians have a flexible view of time, so I connected with my lovely colleague Mikhail and we had a good chat about it.
I think this is going to be one of those books I pick up again and again as I face differences with the cultures I work with. It's definitely improved my work already and I'm sure it'll continue to do so moving forward as well.

I had a great time reading this book - filled with fun and interesting anecdotes that made it easier to visualize and recall concepts.
Cons: parts of it were a little repetitive and felt overexplained into the same case study format.
