this wasn't straightforward and honest, it was just rude and I'm not the type of person to think an attitude is rude
You get the idea that the writer's had a decent life and it's written for people who are slightly overweight, wine addiction and good amount of money with the only problem is that they hate their job and their partner cheated on them. I agreed with the concept, but it was poorly delivered.
We've all heard the advice before, it's nothing new and it's nothing that helps anyone. Actually shaming someone won't help which he pretty much did the entire book. Plus he tried making the reader's problem not actually bad enough because someone has it worse, and basically told the reader that they're not allowed to feel bad about it which is a huge reason why people don't get help
(Also the little nice touch that medication won't help you or your anxiety which is fucking bullshit and if you're suffering from anxiety or depression - medication can be a great option and the fact that he told the suffering person that THEY'RE the problem and if they just did something with their life they would be cured, just ignoring the fact that the brain is SICK)
The entire book was:
No matter how horrible your past was, no matter how horrible abuse you endured your suffering doesn't matter!
You're not special and you're going to die! You don't deserve anything.
You're poor? Stop it! No excuses! Join my program!
Your suffering is entirely your fault and if you're sick you're not allowed to complain because someone has it worse and you should feel ashamed and silly for even thinking you've got it bad!

4. Nadie te bloquea el camino, solo tu mismo
5. Eres tus acciones, no tus pensamientos

Just wasn’t in the mood at this time to keep reading.

executive summary. Stop thinking and start doing.
This was fine. Nothing earth shattering. Fun to hear it read hy the author in his Scottish accent. Less hippie dippie than some and more about taking actions to get the life you want - or admitting that you're okay with things as they are.

This replaces the previous harsh one star review. I stand by what I wrote and still don’t like or recommend this book. But, one star reviews seem to draw a lot of random likes and comments and I’m tired of seeing them every time I open Goodreads and being reminded of this otherwise forgettable book.
